Did any Japanese design proposals feature 4-gun turrets?
There were also Kaneda's 1919 design and the only one to feature the 48cm test gun:

hello, I got plans to get the fujimi super yamato (with a shinano), are all super yamato illustration speculative if no original drawing showing its AA placement exist?
thanks for your answers!

That is the case based on a number of sources from an upgunned Yamato design to a 100.000ton variant

- oww, not the 100,000-ton variant first?? i read that it's from 3xIII, then 4xII with 85,000 tons, then the cheap one 3xII using the Yamato hull?..
- i think i remember a proposal of five Yamatos to be up-gunned too (i see that from a certain timeline picture, but i can find where it is)..
- and that's not including the four 6th Circle Naval Program BB as well..

Yes, five Yamatos were considered:
No.1 - Yamato
No.2 - Musashi
No.110 - Shinano
No.111
No.797

The two Super Yamatos were hull number
No.798
No.799
