The designs of Gaspare Santangelo (like those of his colleague, Giovanni Bellomo) are somewhat obscure because both men were assigned to the Direzione Superiore Studi ed Esperienze (DSSE) at Guidonia. As engineers of the Corpo del Genio Aeronautico, Santangelo and Bellomo were encouraged to produce example designs suited to Ministero dell'aeronautica requirements. But, as Skybolt pointed out (in reply #21), it was then up to the aviation industry to decide whether they want to build those designs.

In realtà il concetto di Bellomo riemerse un paio di anni dopo in un progetto molto poco conosciuto dell'Alfa Romeo, che utilizzava un grosso motore non convenzionale. Questo è fuori tema, vuoi che ti racconti la storia? :D

Does anyone have any pictures/sketches of the Caproni Ca.350?

Also, I remember seeing a picture once of a ~1942 single engine fighter-bomber project that looked similar to the Bf-109. I thought that was the Ca.350, but that now appears to be a pre-war project instead. Doesn anyone know what I am referring to?

It was Bf-109 inspired and apparently intended as a ground attack aircraft based on bombs being directly included in the sketches.

The Ca.350 is a separate design that I haven't seen sketches of yet.

It's hard to find a drawing to Ca.350,even with many books about
Caproni ?
 
In Competition,which led to CANSA FC,20,the main tenders were;

CANSA FC.20,IMAM Ro.61,Ambrosini SAI.9,Caprono Ca.330 & Ca.331 and Umbra AUT.45.

Does that use the same engine as the Caproni-Vizzola F-6Z abd Caproni-Reggiane Re.2004 project?

Thank you. I should post something on the presentation thread, but i got distracted. I will soon.
First of all, since my account was created just some days ago, i must prove my sources (those being myself). Here's my thunmb in front of the museum.

Now, the bad news. They don't store images, projects, drowings or anything else other than what is in exhibition. The lebanese S.79 is cool, the fragment of the only Re.2005 in existance is beautiful, but they are not the heavy fighers we are looking for. The management gave me some contacts of the Fondazione Museo storico del Trentino, stating that maybe they have something. But no promises.
If the image does some funky stuff or is stupidly large please tell me, i really tried to make it like you others post them, but it seems i can't find the way.
