Invincible class - notes

I did search, but did not find this thread.

It's on page 2 of the results when I search for "Invincible."

I believe there was a Mk 13 armed Invincible discussed although this may have been for the Shah of Iran’s program and not the RAN

Given that the Iranian interest was at a very early stage, I suspect that all sorts of things were discussed before landing on 'well this is a silly idea, let's revisit it in a couple of decades.'

Curiously, the same article contains a photo of the completed ship with a ski-jump, so this plan was already outdated.
