Hi,

here is a Grumman/Gulfstream G.II Projects,the first had lift fan as V/STOL aircraft and the second

Note that this was not a Grumman design. Rather, this illustration - like the other examples in the linked article - are of GE's notional installations of their new turbine engines on existing (or then soon-to-be-realized) airframes.

What the article actually says is:

Grumman's Gulfstream. Still in the planning stage, the sleek turboprop would be adaptable for four CF700B aft turbofans; would probably carry wing-mounted pods of twin. While the fuselage would be retained, the wing could embrace a new configuration involving a moderate sweep, resulting in 500-mph-plus speeds

In other words, GE was looking for potential applications for its 2,850 lbf CJ610-1 and CJ610-2B turbojets ('civilianized' J85 variants) as well as the 4,200 lbf CF700-2B (an aft-fan turbofan based on a J85 core).
