Hi,

we know in British Spec. 21/28 for Mail Carrying Aircraft, the tenders were; Avro-627,
Blackburn,Boulton Paul P.64,Fairey,Gloster,Handley Page HP.47,Supermarine and
Westland,an as in Aviation Historian No.10,the contenders were not received until
1931.

So I suggest those projects maybe were submitted to this contest ?.

Its possible but it would be unusual to have all the data for your design published for all your competitors to read.
Frank Radcliffe worked for Gloster from 1924 until the take-over by Hawker in 1935 then went to Airspeed. In 1937 he joined Folland and Preston, he old bosses, in the new Folland Aircraft company.

Hi Schneiderman,

that's a good point,maybe those were a anther Gloster Proposals ?.

They do share some characteristics with later Gloster designs and are quite advanced for 1930. I'm surprised that Gloster's management allowed him to publish such detailed work.

Is there any projects, which designed by the sam guy for Gloster ?.
