Disagree the E-50 and E-75 where planned to be made on the same line using the same welding jigs, did have different armour and because of the weight more wheels, possible different turret and gun but does where not designed yet, all the turrets you see on models and art work are fiction.
The E-25 is not smaller then the Hetzer but almost 2x the weight and larger in all dimensions. 15tons for the Hetzer and 25-30 tons for the E-25, maybe you meant the E-10 which had the same gun and similar weight as the Hetzer

Ok, I may have been wrong about the e25 and e10, but the e75 and e50 were nowhere near the same. Yes they would have been made on the same production lines (Adlerwerke, Krupp, or Weserhutte) but there are almost no other similarities. The E-50 was a medium "breakthrough" tank designed to have a bigger gun and better drive systems, while the E-75 was a King Tiger design with way more armor, a bigger engine, and a much better gun.

I have the feeling you got your info from World of Tanks or some other game and not from good sources like Panzer Tracts, the E-25 is smaller ingame then it would have been. Also ingame different engines, turret and gun between the E-50 and E-75, but in real life there was no turret designed yet, guns are unknown and the engine would have been the same, its not like the German had that many engine options Maybach HL230 is pretty much the only option with the HL234 coming later.
I see it more like the Panzer 4 early and late version they had different armor, engine, guns but it was still the Panzer 4, the E-50 and E-75 are closer then the Panzer 4 early and late. Its not weird you have it wrong because there is so much misinformation going around but try sticking to good sources Spielberger and Jentz and well known good researchers and a good start and sadly for a lot of things there is no info, allot got destroyed

They were more thought experiments that might have made it to trial vehicles to work through the new suspension and the concept of a externally similar hull design with different armor thicknesses to simplify production of a medium and heavy tank on the same production lines. Similarly there was apparently no work on a turret for either at the time they canned the trial designs. I personally suspect if they'd have gotten a turret they would have slapped the Panther Ausf F one on there since it was already in production and looked to be a reasonable improvement over the Ausf G's but that is purely a guess with no evidence at all.

Good point, I need to fix that statement. No E-series were ever built.

Concur. As it's at least something already designed and in production to use for the E-50. Not sure whether the E-75 would have gotten "that turret but with thicker plates going out" or a whole different turret more like Tiger II.
