sorry i don't have information on Operation Ikarus

Wat i know:
Operation Seelöwe, invasion of England
Operation Polarfuchs, invasion of Sweden
Operation Tannenbaum, invasion of Switzerland
Operation Isabella, invasion of Portugal
Operation Felix, invasion of Gibraltar
Operation Herkules, airborn invasion of Malta
Unternehmen Grün, only study for invasion of Irland

at June 11, 1941 came "Führer-Weisung Nr. 32" (fuhrer order° 32)
all other Operation invasion are halt until Operation Barbarossa is complet
(that's Nazi conquest of USSR until the Ural mountans)
lucky for us Hitler notice on Maps a little town called "Stalingrad"

back to Operation Ikarus
i have no idea how Wehrmacht and Marine had to made this operation
already Operation Seelöwe was impossibly for them
who to hell they start sea invasion 2000 km (1245 Miles) from Third Reich ???
 
Well i know only there was intention to invade Iceland, after operation Fork or invasion of Iceland by Uk .

EDIT: Interestingly it had the German codename Herkules, though I thought Operation Herkules had been the proposed German only airborne invasion of Malta in 1941?
