Mirage project and numbers

And now, something different... the Mirage 3000, its little and larger brothers.

For the record, the Mirage 3000 was a 1977-78 atempt at creating a subscale, least expensive 4000 - by rolling a pair of Tornado ADV RB.199s into a Mirage 2000 airframe.

I created that one using Aviastar.org 3-views of the 2000, 4000, and Tornado. Also the Mirage IIING for the LERX / double delta / canard.

I think it says 'Mirage IV Atar 9C'
Drawing from Mirage IV by Hervé Beaumont, éditions Larivière 2003

Very interesting. Do you have a high res scan of the specs table for this Mirage IV Atar 9C? Wonder if it could be readable once enlarged.

(There are similar style drawings in JM Gall’s La Saga Etendard… although the font was too small to read, I found that by scanning in high res I could blow up the images enough to read the specs)

@H_K I tried scanning the page at 1600 dpi, but no luck. The book's image as printed lacks definition. Mirage IV Atar 9C detail 1600.jpg

Thanks. Shame… it’s almost decipherable, I can guess at some of the items (e.g. total fuel capacity 16,xxx L) but not enough to be sure…
