Meteor Predecessors - S225X and others

Anyone have any info on the BAe S225X/XR Metoer predecessors from the early /mid 1990s. All I have found is :

The S225X/XR programme was unveiled at the 1992 Farnborough Air Show

I'll check my Air Internationals, but post 1990 is boxed currently.

Stealth measures include the use of radar-absorbing paint coating, and infra-red attenuation.

The earlier winged RB73D/DL joint project used inertial guidance and either the Active Skyflash seeker or a new millimetric radar seeker from Marconi. Range was about 100km.

I have always wondered why this proposal ended up being somewhat shorter than the original ~3.7 meter Skyflash/Sparrow?

The earlier winged RB73D/DL joint project used inertial guidance and either the Active Skyflash seeker or a new millimetric radar seeker from Marconi.

I wonder what the relationship was between the "new millimetric radar seeker from Marconi" and the seeker that found its way into AAAW/Brimstone?

Because it was lighter? Seems to have been same diameter as Sparrow, but not as long.

S225X and Skyflash currently on display in the Bristol Aero Collection's new site, which unfortunately isn't lit very well.

Here is what i believe is a prototype/mockup, fitted to a Swedish JA 37D with IR-OTIS (Infrarött optroniskt inmätningssystem, English: infra red optronic measurement system, essentially IRST + FLIR) in 1997.
