Via dear friend,

IAR-42 was a two-seat low-wing monoplane of 1942,powered by one IAR-1000 A engine,but there is no details for its function,strong feeling it was a military aircraft,
but maybe remained a project only ?!.

Interesting. Did your friend provide a reference? This sounds very much like the IAR-47. Perhaps a slightly earlier design iteration?

No it wasn't. In any case, your Polish source is just a listing of a few wartime IAR design.

The IAR 47 was a new, low-winged monoplane design which simply 'recycled' the fuselage from the IAR 39 biplane - re-used for convenience and speed of development.
