Sorry, Nothing for this competition in the Docavia book about Dewoitine.

In this book, the words about the D.374 are exactly the same as in Le Fana.

That's right my dear Deltafan,

so i will search about it in the books; Les hydravions à coque.

Hi,

also in 1939

- BP2 two-seat light and dive bomber : SNCAO CAO-800 & CAO-810,no other contenders are known

From the Docavia about Nieuport, there was no competition for the CAO 810. There was a proposal from CAO to the Armée de l'Air for a 2-seats ligth and dive bomber and reconnaissance Aircraft.
Nothing is said about the CAO 800.

That's right my dear Deltafan,

and I have this book, but in TU magazine, they told us that there was a new program for
two-seat light-dive bomber in 1939,and that means it was a contest, but no more details
are known, about CAO-800,it was early study to CAO-810,without any Info.

Which is EXACTLY why I've always been a little particular (some call it finnicky, obsessive, anal retentive or whatever, I don't care) about correcting mistakes on this forum, because I know full well that something people will find here will be taken as gospel truth, copied, pasted elsewhere (usually Wikipedia) and then live a life of its own, usually through the hundreds of mirror sites that duplicate Wikipedia. And once a wrong, imcomplete or inaccurate piece of information is found a thousand times on the web, how can you correct it? Even if you post a correction, it will be invisible in the flood of other pages.

Anyway, thanks hesham for exploring with such persistence, and trying to make sense of, the specifications of my own country.

And kudos to you two, indeed: you really need to be bold, brave, and stubborn, to dig such a difficult and obscure subject. Indeed, France interbellum Staé was very much Terry Gilliam Brazil dystopic, crazy bureaucracy - except for real.
