Hi,

I spoke before about some of Embraer projects, and I want a drawings to EMB-301
basic trainer, which was based on Neiva Universal, and EMB-311 COIN and attack
aircraft,based on Caraja.

The name Carajá was applied at least twice by Neiva. The first use was for a 1984 PT6A-powered EMB-821 Navajo variant (whose wing and undercarriage design were originally to be incorporated into what finally became the Tucano turboprop trainer).

The N.721 Caraja was a turboprop N.621 Universal derivative (although there were other modifications - stronger wings, enlarged fin, and changes to landing gear and windscreen.

The EMB-311 was simply a turboprop version of the EMB-301. The COIN study you refer to was referred to as COIN-X. As mentioned, this was a straightforward adaptation of the Caraja (but does anyone know if N.721B refers to COIN-X or was just a further Caraja design phase?).

Hi,

here is the conceptual studies for the fuselage alternatives of Embraer ERJ 170 aircraft.

In late 80 Embraer leveraged the experience gained with the AMX and proposed a replacement for the F-5 in service with the Brazilian Air Force, the project was called MFT-LF (Multi Functional Tactical - Light Fighter).

The comercial failure of the AMX, plus the reluctance of the brazilian goverment to fund the project entierly, consipered to end the project.

Embraer STOUT hybrid turboprop concept presented by the Brazilian Air Force
The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) released on November 13, 2020, the first images of its new aircraft, which will be made in partnership with Embraer, under the name of STOUT (Short Take-Off Utility Transport) during a National Defense Seminar, held at the Superior School of War of the Brazilian Army. According to the FAB official at the seminar, the project aims to replace the C-95 (EMB-110) and C-97 (EMB-120).
This utility aircraft concept will have a hybrid concept, with two turboprops and two electric engines. The conceptual image shows a plane with a high wing, with a rectangular fuselage and a rear ramp.
The future aircraft should be able to transport palletized cargo, 30 equipped soldiers, launch 24 paratroopers, as well as cargo transportation in general and aeromedical evacuation missions. According to the first information released, this utility aircraft concept will be able to carry 3 tons of cargo and will be able to operate on short runways of less than 1,000 meters, so it will be able to take off on short and semi-prepared runways, like in the Amazon region. It will have a range of 2,425km / 1,310 nautical miles.
