Yes most of the illustrations are from it, uncredited.

Yes, some of the material in this series is based on these sources, some is from other sources including Andrey Fomin (in the following episodes) and Efim Gordon. Some is created independently.

That would be great, i suspect because of the size it could be something like the Mak MAWS like on Su-24M or even an IR jammer like on Su-25T, or both.
PS: Also, wonder what is the radar on the 1983 project, it's only a sketch but it reminds me of the Bars PESA antenna.

Hi folks, the source of these pictures is the Russian publication "Sukhoi Design Bureau - 85th anniversary". Probably @overscan (PaulMM) is faster, but I will also try to translate the text to each image and post it here later.

#4 looks like an F-16XL configuration with that cranked arrow wing. That would have been something to see.

Came across this that i don't recall seeing before. Also the drawing seem to be of T-10/7 edition 2, are there pictures of models of that configuration by any chance? I know it appears briefly in a wind tunnel video, but other than that haven't seen models of it.
