To be honest I highly doubt turkey would have ever stoped a peaceful passage for a russian ship no mader what it looked like or was called simply because it was not worth getting into a diplomatic row with a superpower over something so miner. The ussr navy put missiles on its carriers because it considered missiles to be far more capable then strike aircraft in the strike role. And if the ussr had completely changed there doctrine to something more conventional for there carriers turkey would have still allowed the ussr to peacefully cross the bosborus. (WW3 obviously being a different can of worms altogether)
