YikesRadar Blocker Su-57 on KnAAZ assembly
YikesRadar Blocker Su-57 on KnAAZ assembly
considering it was there since the conception of the aircraft it's collaterals were certainly taken into consideration from the startWhen we discussed about so called radar blocker( anti-radar grid or radial-coaxial grid) inside of the air intakes several months ago, I must admit ,I was sceptical about it.First thoughts were about possible 'air flow mass issues' inside of the air intakes.
Yeah, but every time we see videos of the su-57 making that Star Wars spaceship sound it was production aircraft and the Algerian models so one could think those aircraft had the blocker installed.^
Surprising, the known video from KnAAZ made during Feb this year.

Of course must admit that I was wrong ,the grids are there.Only question is , are those grids integrated from the beginning of the serial production?
They've been in place since early stages of the development process. As soon as it became clear that for the desired weapons bay parameters the serpentine intakes were not viable. Subsequently they are also featured in the patents and at the very latest in the later prototypes.Only question is , are those grids integrated from the beginning of the serial production?

That shape has been known for ages...Whoops they forgot to blur that one
m1? isnt that the one with the AL51 and the 2.5D flat nozzeles? This one still looks like the Al41f1 version with round nozzeles"Su-57M1E" lolwat
There is no such designation, that twittard inventing its own.m1? isnt that the one with the AL51 and the 2.5D flat nozzeles? This one still looks like the Al41f1 version with round nozzeles
ik that but does russia even have the M1 yet? thought they were going to start this year? any progress on Al51 certification? There is no such designation, that twittard inventing its own.
That link is broken
The blueish grey looks brighter than on Russian models, maybe it's just the lighting though. Either way, congrats to Algeria. They now field the most capable combat aircraft in all of North Africa.''Пролёт пары Су-57Э ВВС Алжира на малой высоте.''

This has to be PS'ed, the jet in the alleged photo still has a pitot tube on its radome...
First one looks like photoshop of one of the prototypes, the ones with the two birds seems AI generated, judging by the engine area and nose section. Let's wait and see.So far best photos via FAERES.DZ/@fares4302 on X
Appears to have been a serious fire at Komsomolsk on Amur
Recent satellite imagery of the facility shows extensive damage to Workshop No. 46, a critical production node. The plant produces both the Su-57 "stealth" multi-role fighter and the Su-34 strike aircraft, which are active in the war against Ukraine.
Severely damaged is an incredibly early and stupid claim
"The Su-57E is generating strong interest among Rosoboronexport’s partners, several of whom have already contracted for the Russian fighter jet. The list of customers for this aircraft is steadily expanding," the company stated.

Workshop 45 for 'rubber' products..

Many closed cities were opened and many military towns were closed following the collapse of the USSR.That place seems like a nightmare place to keep secure just by looking at the amount of abandoned buildings; roads and easy and close access to the plant location. Don’t the Russians have something like Area 51 anymore?
What's that supposed to mean?Is it just me, or are the impacts of the Bologna system really becoming more and more apparent on the SPF?
As far as I know the Bologna Process (or system) made higher education and academic degrees comparable across Europe to facilitate students studying in other European countries. What's that supposed to mean?
