Su-35S is already going to get replaced by Su-35SM.
There is no such thing as of nowSu-35S is already going to get replaced by Su-35SM.
I know? But it’s being developed. There is no such thing as of now

First ever spotting of the designation Su-35SM happened in the Akhtubinsk air base where 929 GLITs of the Ru MoD is stationed. In fact, it happened during one TV reportage about 100 anniversary of that centre.
From 3:13 ,we can see Su-35SM ( row No 14) Bort number 51 and 52 red.

For now ,Su-35SM is not the official designation in the VKS .
Now about the Su-57,in this case E ,509 blue .

From the Su-57 two-seater to the Su-75 - what's happening at Sukhoi
During the Dubai Airshow, Sukhoi test pilot Sergei Bogdan explained the latest developments concerning the Su-57 and the future of the Su-75 Checkmate.militaeraktuell.at
Turning on AB fuel flow without ignition would be an effective fuel dump system
That is either a delayed AB light, or a dual engine compressor stall^
OK but I thought that photo where we can see only one outer weapon compartment as opened with R-74M2 model wasn't posted so far.Btw ,Sergey Bogdan said that it wasn't some malfunction.
Was this that case ?

Given that 5 planes appear to be at fairly similar stages of comstruction, would that infer that a delivery batch contains 5 planes?
Likely will be a choice for the Indian Air Force as well, the Sukhoi/HAL FGFA had plans for twin cockpit one...According to our dear George, the dual seater prototype should fly soon...
Is this a dodgy website? Since when is the brahmos hypersonic lol
What's wrong with the TASS?
''BrahMos-II'' is hypersonic version of the original ''BrahMos'',yes. Operational or not, that's another story.
'In parallel' !

IIRC Su-57 cammo pattern was result of actual development/evaluation process to screw up with digital recognition. Not sure how much it helps when in modern world everyone will just train on specific pattern in the first place, but either way, changing it will come with some penalty.I'm surprised they didn't adopt a desert themed paint scheme like the Algerian Su-34s. But different roles, so maybe that's why.
Well, by far the best fighter aircraft in entire global south. That's worth something even against CAATSA risks.Su-57s flying fairly low in Algeria.
Aspects like effectiveness of sensor fusion cannot reliably be gauged by enthusiasts online. You'd have to work at UAC/LM for an accurate assessment and then you'd face jail time for sharing such information on the Internet. On paper both the Su-57 and F-35 have a lot of sensory equipment meant to aid them in target identification and acquistion, situational awareness and as part of the aircrafts defensive countermeasures. How good is Sensor fusion on Su-57 fighter compared to say Su-35 or Western equivalent of F-35 or Rafale.
The Su-57 as per open source have around 4 million plus lines of code versus say F-35 with 8 million plus lines of code so likely the latter is more software intensive and sensor fusion driven ? Thank you
Confirmed? IIRC since 2023. When the Okhotnik drone went rogue. How long has the Su-57 been at war?

Currently, PJSC Sukhoi Company has developed the information and control system (ICS) for the Su-57, a promising frontline aviation complex, using IMA BK technology. This ICS is based on an onboard digital computer based on IMA BK principles (IMA BK BCVM), created by JSC GRPZ according to PJSC Sukhoi Company's specifications.
The Su-57 ICS consists of two IMA BK BCVMs, linked into a single high-speed redundant network using a serial Fibre Channel interface with a specially developed deterministic profile.
It was officialy confirmed before the 2023Confirmed? IIRC since 2023. When the Okhotnik drone went rogue.

Just like how knowing the exact specifications of an SDB offers one little comfort when one of them happens to enter through the bedroom window, I'd argue a stealth scheme which relies on keeping unalterable design features of your aircraft secret is not a good one.Whoops they forgot to blur that one
I am sure it is rather primitive since HMD isn’t in service yet. Without that it just combining info on MFDs in helpful ways. How good is Sensor fusion on Su-57 fighter compared to say Su-35 or Western equivalent of F-35 or Rafale.
