Junkers Ju 85/88/188/388 & 488 - Projects, Prototypes and Variants

It's the Heinkel He 177 V12 with two MK 103 under the nose, I think. The same photo can be found in
"Heinkel He 177-277-274" by Griehl and Dressel

Hi everyone,

I just came across this blogpost on a French post-war research project that used a Ju 88 as a test bed for ram jet engines:


The airframe was cleaned up a bit compared to its wartime configuration, but I'm still quite impressed that the French Ju 88 was flown to Mach 0.7 on two occasions! :)
