Any pics of the Hu211?
Are the wings typical Hutter with a very wide span?

I might just try a profile having been prompted by Carlos. :)

Many thanks
Peter

The only one I could find is from Waffenarsenal Bd.73:

I would stick to the wind tunnel Hü 211 model`s wings. It also features a butterfly tail like the "fernzerstörer".

Here is all could find on the Hutter Hu 211; a drawing and a pic from
a French modeling site, Master194.com (see attachments).

There is a brief Wikipedia entry via the He 219 entry as well.

And he did!!! Check out Flitzer's wondrous work here:

The plan shared by shivering a few posts above was actually reproduced by the French magazine from Nowarra's Die Deutsche Luftrüstung 1933-1945, Vol. 3. Here is a better scan of it:

The designer said it had two Ju-222 with a pair of turbo superchargers .But the both prototypes where lost in a air raid.

Also from Waffen Arsenal S-76,

here is a drawing in details to Hütter Hu-211.

Greetings

I am interested in the development of the Hütter Hü 211, itself a development of the Heinkel He 219 UHU. But besides some light info on Wikipedia I found little other data about it, especially pictures of the built prototype. So does photographical evidence about its existence, well... exist ::) ?

Kind regards,
Stuka_Hunter

My memory is a bit hazy, but there was some allied postwar intelligence on the Hü 211. It was not a large amount of data, I believe there was a photo of the wing (wooden) under construction, a fairly good drawing of the wing and a few other details. IIRC, the aircraft was intended for recce service.

Best Regards,

Artie Bob

Found a couple of images in an old thread that might help a bit (see attached). Also, Flitzer was working on art for it, but he seems to have shelved work on it for the moment.

By the way, I think that this topic should be moved over to Early Aircraft Projects.

Artie Bob is right though, there are photos too. One shows a mock-up of the landing gear/engine nacelle.

Dan, please promise us that we'll see, somehow, this stuff!

I've already promised someone that I wouldn't do the Hu 211 until they've done it first. That was quite a while ago...

That high aspect ratio wing favours cruising at high altitudes. Disadvantages are heavier structure and slow roll rate.

Hello friends:

I'm making a 1/72 Hü 211 model , I found a lot of great information here, thank you for sharing.

But I still have some questions, such as:

where is the reconnaissance camera position?
two forward MG151 machine guns mounted in the wings or in the belly?

Hope to get more advice from you
Many thanks
