Early Carrier projects/proposals.

HMS Furious, Langley and the Hosho are the more well known early carriers that were made, to a certain degree the Ausonia is also fairly well known. How about the others? For example I've found a proposal to convert the HMS Vindictive into a full deck carrier made in 1918. Any others?

Very interesting, thanks Tzoli! Were you aware of the Vindictive proposal? I wasn't able to find much on it online apart from a few "Alternative history" forum posts.

I've suspected there was a full a scale CVL conversion proposal for HMS Vindictive but never found any concrete data, but that model shows the RN considered such a conversion. it looks like a small scale Eagle or Hermes.

It was a simple extrapolation from where she was historically - almost like the Furious conversion from fore&aft flying decks and center superstructure to full carrier.
