British Naval projects from late 70's

The OPS3 sounds like it would have been a very useful asset to the Royal Navy indeed, though the OPS2 would have been also handy during the money starved 1990s.
OPS3 sounds like it has essentially the same combat systems as a Type 23 with simplified machinery. Given that the OPS1 looks like a baby Type 23, and Yarrows was lead yard for the Type 23, I think it's a fair assumption that OPS3 is substantially an export version of that design. In concept at least, if not in details.

With that in mind, OPS2 sounds a lot like some of the mid-development Type 23 concepts.

Brooke Marine 45 m FPB
Missile fast patrol craft
Displacement: not known
So sadly Antonio, looking at the drawing of the "Brooke Marine 45 m FPB Missile fast patrol craft" you've so kindly provided, I realise how pathetic/petty the Australian/RAN government was in terms of armament when it selected the Brooke Marine 41.9 m (137 ft) design that became the 'Fremantle' class Patrol Boats . :(

Regards
Pioneer

There was an unfulfilled requirement for a final batch of Fremantles to be completed as missile armed FACs. One of the reasons the Brooke Marine and the Lurssen designs were the finalists was that both were capable of being completed as full FACs

Some more Brooke Marine designs (the 67m corvette has been posted above but this drawing includes the underwater hull detail).
