ATF: speculation and disinformation from the 1980s

Looks like generic ATF artwork, similar to that that Syd Mead did. I say that because, if you look carefully, you can see the thrust reversing nozzles the ATF was originally planned for.

The single engine, relatively small size, the fact the very same design was seen with USMC markings, that it shows details (like the serrated forward edge of windscreen) absent from any pre-ATF artwork (as far as I can remember) but common after the F-22 selection, the fact it matches JAST Configuration 100 (as Flateric pointed out), everything point towards a Lockheed early JAST design.
