Been a while everybody, hope all is well
I have had the following photo for some time in my archive. It was and still is a oddity, as to this day I cannot find a solid explanation for what it is. That is to say, I might have a theory now, if you all would allow me. To my knowledge, the photo...

Hi Guys
I came across information on the internet that the Japanese used:
Messerschmitt Bf.109G
Dornier Do. 215
Focke-Wulf Ta.154
Savoia-Marchetti SM.79
Reggiane Re.2000
Japanese homegrown Mistel project similar to the Germans (N1K fighter on a modified J5M bomb)
Could this be a case of...

Are there any Japanese WW2 projects for bombs in the 2000+ kilogram range?
The British, Americans, Germans, and Soviets all had various large conventional bombs in the 2000 - 20000 kilogram range, but I have not come across anything (in my limited research) of a similar weight class for Japan...
In order to avoid clogging the IJN air service thread, I'd open an Army-specific thread for discussion about their alternatives in choice of flying hardware, logistics (as far as they can address it), production, etc. The Pacific war unfolds as it did hisorically, ie. the war with West starts as...

Similar to the post-BoB RAF: what might've Luftwafe/RLM do after Autumn of 1940 in order to improve their standing, both in short-term (next 12 months) and long-term (a few next years). I've also included 'Axis' term here - mostly European Axis countries' air forces/services - since they can be...

Hi at all,
I am not talking about the "special attack" versions of this plane, but to other adaptations/prototypes.
1) In this thread about the Ki-67 successor, there is a link to this page

about the Nakajima Ki-49...
It's my first post here after being registered for a while, so hello everyone!
I'm interested in ww2 Japanese aviation and especially the experimental aircraft of the Imperial Japan. Also, I really enjoy messing around with some 3d models, so I thought I could combine these two.
So, here's one...
As you all know Richard Vogt was send to Kawasaki by Dornier for the production of Dornier types.
Later he became chief designer at the Kawasaki factory.
For a few types there is information which he designed for the company.
But who can help me with a list of aeroplanes and projects designed by...
