It's not B2707-300. It's Boeing HSCT.

"Braniff Babes", as they were known, are seen here modeling Pucci's 1966 uniforms on board a full-size model of the Boeing SST (supersonic transport). The SST was Boeing's answer to the Concorde, but never got off the ground.

Looks like it's a grayscale, slightly reduced-size version of the large format image I posted here:
http://up-ship.com/blog/?p=1012

The little errors and blips are the same.

Yep... and other images from that Italian blog come from familiar places...... handle with care..
The drawing is the same published in Horizons Issue 5 / Second Quarter 1966, it's an L-2000-7A. The L-2000 and logo at the bottom have been added later. The original was in sepia background color.

Nice! I think that other versions of the Boeing 969 can be found on this forum:

969-302B: delta-wing;
969-321: modified version of NASA's SCAT 15F;
969-404B: swing-wing

Hi,

here is a model for 3 Mach SST aircraft,but I can't ID it.

The description speaks of a "generalized design for a Mach 3 transport",
so I think it's not a specific type.

GE 2707 Airframe Engine Technical Agreement

PW 2707 Airframe Engine Technical Agreement

The GE pdf is a bit tough to read, because all of the text is double imaged. Maybe someone here knows of a clean copy. There looks to be some good engine data in these. I've been doing some research, trying to find some engine decks or the most jet engine data I can find. I'm not sure this goes here. If we start digging into this more, maybe we should have a separate section for propulsion?

Anyway, enjoy.

Here is the Air Progress (June 1967) article. I scanned the whole thing because of the art work layout.

Douglas SST

That's what the Flight website lists it as, but it looks like a Lockheed design to me. Does anyone have any info on this?

Source:
The SST Here it comes, ready or not
By Don Dwiggins, Doubleday & Co. Inc., 1968

Kelly Johnson's input on the SST and an illustration of a Continental Airlines SST. The caption is confusing on this one - citing the design as both Douglas and North American.

Not quite... the caption says that Douglas engineers proposed this design as a modification of the North American B-70. While the design *isn't* really a modified B-70, if it were, it would be something like Lockheed proposing, say, to put new wings and new engines with vectoring, VTOL capability on a Boeing 747.

In other words, Company A proposing to modify Company B's existing design, but without Company B really being involved. It happens.

Thanks for the clarification. My mind was (and still is) in a bit of a fog after reading my way through this entire thread to be sure that these images had not been posted.

In this case, not really. If it were in color... *maybe.* If it was a color *painting*... definitely. If it was the actual *model*, you damned betcha.

And wow did the seller ever mangle the description *here.*
Title: "1966 Lockheed 2000 Original Press Photo"
Description: "You are bidding an original 8 x 10 press photos of B-11 Lockhead."

Mis-spelled "Lockheed," "2000" instead of "L-2000" (although the actual photo does not use the "L-2000" description, that would certainly increase the items visibility in searches), no mention of "SST" or "supersonic transport," and a spurious "B-11." I'm astonished you found it.
