What other asset goes along with this aircraft? Do they have a-50s? Just getting the fighters is kinda moot.

In addition to their Su-57s, Su-35s and Su-34s you can expect that they most likely ordered a wide selection of weapons for these aircraft. I don't think there are currently A-50s available for export. If anything, given they also operate Chinese UAVs, they might acquire a Chinese sourced system for the role.

Now, their main potential adversary Morocco has two Gulfstream based AEW&C aircraft on order, but their fighter force supported by these aircraft is found wanting. And given the Su-57s stealth and situational awareness (assuming the Su-57E is comparably kitted out to the Su-57S) the odds are evened yet again. This could also mean that Algeria picked up the R-37M to be carried by their Su-57E and Su-35E, as these would be very useful in reducing the number of active AEW&C aircraft in the Royal Moroccan Air Force from two to zero, if the need ever arises.

Finally a video worth watching. Without all that idiotic, exalted nonsense from people who actually know complete sh*t.

I don't see the supposed formation lights, have I ultimately turned completely blind now?

Iteresting part with updated 101-ks-u is that it was understood to be part of megapolis, which, in turn, is new set of radars(GaN?) etc. Those were slated for 2027, however.
I wonder if it's an intermediate half-step upgrade (esp. since engine is still 117), and how much else is under the hood down there.

Apparently a new HUD was observed too, as far as visual changes. I don't speak russian unfortunately but apparently some people translating mentioned new AAMs? What else could it be other than Izd.810, 180 and 760? Maybe izd.300 and/or Izd.270?

I marked up the changes on the high res version provided by George N. as I found the close ups rather grainy.

Now it is a full-fledged multi-function multi-channel EO DAS.

With modified four 101KS-U modules they have full coverage of the upper and lower hemipshere and the lateral angles in the UV and IR band (aircraft/MAWS) and LWS. With two 101KS-O modules they have full coverage of the upper and lower hemisphere in the IR band together with laser anti -AAM/SAM defence.

“101KS-U” may already be known under a different name, given the auxiliary role of the UV channel.
An interesting article was published in 2021 in the journal UAC Горизонты. Unfortunately, it is no longer available from the West in its original full text, but an excerpt is available here.
It deals with the directions of development of the Su-57 cockpit and sensor suite, including the intention to synthesize imagery from distributed IR sensors.

15 Su-57 spotted in the Dzyomgi air base.

''Спутниковые снимки аэродрома Дзёмги в Комсомольске-на-Амуре по состоянию на 09 февраля.
Как видно по кадрам, на территории аэродрома, помимо прочего, спутником запечатлено рекордное количество Су-57 – 15 шт., а также 18 единиц Су-35С и 3 МиГ-31БМ.
Примечательно, что на аэродроме появились ангары, строительство которых, согласно открытым данным, началось в июне 2025 года.''

''Satellite images of the Dzyomgi airfield in Komsomolsk-on-Amur as of February 9.
As can be seen from the images, the satellite captured, among other things, a record number of Su-57 fighters – 15 – as well as 18 Su-35S and three MiG-31BM fighters at the airfield.
It is noteworthy that hangars have appeared at the airfield, the construction of which, according to open data, began in June 2025.''

Wouldn't that be Algeria?
Probably, algeria is usually bundled in with the the rest of the middile east as a short hand in military procurement.

Honestly pretty surprised russia actually delivered, after the iran deal for su-35 failed* i figured it wasn't going to be until after the war in ukraine finished before russia would deliver the su-57 (especially consdering how slowly growing the native force is growing)

*also why this is very unlikely to be iran, if russia wasn't willing to export su-35 then why would it export su-57.

If the quote is true (and that's a pretty large "if"), it probably isn't Algeria. "Significant interest" and "some contracts" would be an understatement for a country that has already agreed to buy 14.

Iran ordered 48 Su-35.

Probably the first Su-35 for IRIAF as newly produced. Also we must count on approximately 30 Su-35 produced for the Egyptian AF from which 14 will be delivered to Algerian AF.

Please do not refer to the so-called "Military Watch Magazine".
It is a collection of opinions and feelings of an ardent fan. Someone blabbers on a discussion forum, someone on social networks and someone pays for a domain and hosting for it.

Do not know what is wrong with MWM or what is wrong with what Anton Alikhanov said because some details were mentioned earlier by Sergey Chemezov about the contracts for Su-57E.

They seem to have decided to keep them as far away from Ukraina and its long range drones as possible. More than 6.000 km distance make a direct attack almost impossible.

They are indeed very juicy targets.
