Point of order: SH-60F had a dipping sonar.

The Oceanhawk was not a LAMPS bird, it was a CV helo. Quite different and not operated from small boys (no RAST in particular).

Given that the SH-60B didn't have dipping sonar I suspect the proposed LAMPS Sea Lynx would not have either

SeaLynx was apparently pitched for LAMPS I (and maybe LAMPS II), against the SH-2 and some others. From the drawings/models we have, I'm not even sure if it had radar.
