It kept flying until 1961. ... and now I've just realized that Griffon II hit Mach 2 before the Mirage IIIA - August 5, 1958 versus October 24, 1958. How about that ! ... meanwhile on January 17, 1958, Trident II had hit Mach 1.95 - close, but no cigar. Non à l'oubli! books.google.fr Hell of a year ! Last edited: 31 March 2024
