R-146 AAM

In a thread about the MiG-23 on this forum (I don’t remember which one), the MiG-23-98 upgrade was mentioned as being able to carry the R-146 AAM. Does anyone have more info about this missile? I can’t find anything online about it.

late response but from what I know the mig-23ml-1 was proposed to carry the r-146 but theres not much you can find about it online except like a sentence on wikipedia and some other things online. I dont entirely know about the mig-23-98 being able to carry it but i might just not be looking in the right places.
