Just to throw us all the way back, found this ebay baby of an N300 wind tunnel model from 1966 View attachment 776875

You posted it elsewhere, not this topic, and it was moved to a hidden forum section as I was considering bidding on the various N300 photos the seller had and didn't want someone else to buy them before me.

Seller wasn't amenable to a lower price, so I didn't buy them in the end, so its fine to post them here. They are still for sale I believe.

I hope you don't mind that I broadened the scope of the thread.

I don't have anything specific on the P-610, but heres a nice overview of the design evolution from P-300 (Tiger derivative) to F-18 from "Northrop : An Aeronautical History" courtesy of Tinwing.

So, was it the N300 that used the J97's and the initial P530 or just the N300?

My guess is just the N300 as the J97 is essentially the same size as the J85-21 (but with 8000 lbs thrust)
