Now that brought back memories Triton. I saw Bob Hoover do a similar show in the OV-10 in the early 70s, either at Pt. Mugu or Vandenberg.

Still wondering what happened to OV-10X. Seemed like a good idea,

A potentially good idea without a requirement or funding.

Yes. thank you.

Thinking it still a better use of limited resources than what is currently being considered as it can carry cargo/troops parachutists ,invaluable. don't see others offering that.

As many of you know two OV-10G's were flying in Iraq and Syria undergoing tests to determine if the type (a low cost COIN aircraft) was needed in the theater and if the services would activate Bronco's in the future. The article below recounts an operation using the Bronco's in Syria:

After the tests were complete over Syria SOCOM Lt Gen Heithold, believed that the OV-10's proved to have "some utility," however the costs associated with operating the two OV-10's, developing a training and logistics chain, would become too expensive to provide something that they are already receiving with current CAS aircraft.

Thank you for the update.
IMHO a OV-10 would make a good Low Intensity Conflict CAS program.
Yes two is certainly a cost/logistics nightmare.
