I read with interest the earlier posts on Musger projects :

http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,14070.0/all.html

I have started a list of the gliders and aircraft Ing. Erwin Musger (20 March 1909 - 16 March 1985) worked on in Austria.

Base information from the earlier posts from Maveric with some supplemental data from Luftfahrzeugbau in Osterreich by Reinhard Keimal (ISBN 3-925505-78-4 Aviatic Verlag)

There are several gaps and queries and I am sure these can be filled by our Austro-German experts.

Very great work my dear Cy-27,

I did't see this topic before, and here is a drawing to Mg.III from Flugsport 1940.

Thank you for this interesting list :)
Under the Mg.25 and Mg.27 headings a date of a first flight is mentioned. That would mean these 2 types were built and flown, but sofar I was unable to unearth photos, if they exist.
Anyone with better luck

This is the only photograph of the M-211 I could found (on the net). Does anyone know of more photos of the M-211?.
The D-EMIS registration was allocated since the sole M-211 was completed in W.Germany by Motorenfabrik Otto Wimmer OHG (there were restrictions on aircraft construction in Austria at the time).
The M-211 is also referred to as the Wimmer R-110

Please , have a look there :
http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,1562.15.html

where the story of the Wimmer R-110 is told … The grand-father of the R-110 was the Arado Ar 79 : van Nes worked at Arado in the thirties and forties .

I already post a second picture of it .

Hi to all :)

Last year I wrote: "Thank you for this interesting list

The date are 10 August 1956 for the Mg-25 and 29 January 1953 for the Mg-27.
Is it safe to assume tbat this info is not correct and that the Mg-25 and Mg-27 were in fact never built and/or flown and remained pure project? (unless I missed something)

As I know this company only built the Musger sailplanes,it was called Oberlerchner, or
Josef Oberlerchner Holzindustrie.

[1] This horizontally-opposed 2-cylinder was designed for the 1924 Mercedes-Daimler L 20 lightplane and L 21 light twin (original output was 19 hp). The 22 hp F7502 displaced almost 9L but the 19 hp engine may have been closer to 7.5L. This would explain the designation -
F (Flugmotor) 750 (750 cc) 2 (2-Zylinder). A used engine chosen for its availability and relatively low price.
