One of the two Chinese Pr. 636 submarines (Either 66 or 67) are getting retired, it is very likely the second of the class will also get retired very shortly after leaving only 8 more Kilo class (all 636Ms) left in service with PLAN. Though 636Ms might serve on into the 2030s given there are still many other submarines to retire beforehand like the 035Bs and the original 039 class both of which are not equipped with AIP.
