    Bell TR911X and TR918 « Eagle Eye » tilt-rotor UAVs

    Does anybody happen to know what became of the Bell "Eagle Eye" tilt rotor UAV? The USCG has put the program on hold...any other customers (I´ve heard that the USMC was interested in this design at some time). Or has the whole project been cancelled? Anybody who´s got the empty and gross weight...

    Land-based hovercraft

    The "hovertank" is a staple of science fiction novels and board games, yet in the real world fans and skirts never seem to have supplanted wheels or tracks. Does anyone have any projects or prototypes to share on proposed land-based hovercraft? Cheers, Matthew

    Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey - Development and Proposed Variants

    I photographed this years ago at the Paris air Show but I never found any other reference to it (like designation, specs, 3 views....) I dimmly remember a reference to the cargo bay being kept in the design and could be used as bomb or torpedo(!!!) bay .... any info ? JCC

    Vought XF8U-3 Crusader III

    Two magazines („The Aeroplane“ and „Flugwelt“) mention a Chance Vought XF9U as an further development of the F8U with big radar in the nose and air intakes similar to the F-105. Is it a hoax or a secret project? Who is able to help?

    Lockheed AH-56 Cheyenne and derivatives

    In this Lockheed advertisment the AH-56 is shown with an additional outline, giving a deeper fuselage and it is advertised to be the basis for a transport for up to 30 passengers or as a ASW helicopter. Are there any other pictures, drawings or photos of mock-ups of these versions ?

    US M103 Heavy Tank

    Was suppose to be a counter to the Russian JS III heavy tank. It weighed in at 65 tons with a 120mm gun. Although it did make it into service in small numbers it was a rarity.
