Introduce Yourself

Hello, my name is Martin - I am mainly a modeller with interest in "weird planes" (aka unfinished german desings of WW2 / planes that never got to production like XF5U / YF-23) and some "normal" tanks/planes /ships as well.
Thanks for allowing me to be part of this communit.

Howdy!

I'm a Texan with a passion for obscure history and alt-history fiction (mainly steampunk and dieselpunk). Lately, I've been nerding out over "what if" events and vehicles, joining forums like the SAS1946 community and brain-dumping for the IL-2 1946 modders. Fun times.

Hello,

I'm Robin, I am married and have 2 children. I am from the UK and a big fan of experimental aircraft, in particular the X-planes (American and Russian). I'm into retro video gaming having previously worked in the industry and now in a complete change of career I work for a UK aerospace company (one of the few left). I'm also into papercraft modelling and plan to make a papercraft model of each of the X-planes.

Thank you Arjen, they are great sites for free models. I'm also interested in some models in Ecardmodels.com. I am particularly interested in creating models of X-planes that haven't already got a model of them. I will post models as and when but it may take a while doing each one.

I am the owner and first moderator of this site. My name is Paul Martell-Mead, I am 32, and live in London, England. I work in IT, but I am very interested in military aviation technology and have built up a large database of knowledge on this subject. I post as "overscan" or "aerospacetech" on various aviation forums.

I recently got married in New Zealand and plan to move there eventually with my New Zealand wife, Vanessa.
Hi Thank you for your message and congratulations on your recent marriage. Although I spent 30 years in the RAF, my knowledge and interest in Ac is not what you would expect. I am more of a collector of badges, visors and flags etc but am looking forward to looking through your site. Naturally, should I stumble on anything that I may be able to add information to then I will. Hopefully, I will find items or threads in my line. Here's hoping!

Thank you once again

Mara (Michael)

Online search for pulse jet engines, and Hiller pulse jet blade tip helicopters led me to forum.

I'm interested in learning about simple, DIY technology like X50 Reme copter, shown in this video link:
