Is this the first ever SAM?

Sorta. There was a Russian proposal circa 1915 about acoustic-guided "flying torpedo" that would launch from rail and home on airplane engine noise, but it was just a proposal, which went nowhere. As far as I know, the "Aerial Target" was the first surface-to-air guided weapon actually build and tested.
