What-If: F-23A in USAAC colors :)

The historian in me thinks this is pretty neat, but the Air Force vet in me thinks putting Army on a 5th Generation Fighter is nausea inducing ;D

Given the effort put by others (thanks Matej) into making a truthful F-23A 4 view in the beginning of this tread, I don't find any excuse for doing the 21 year old mistake of painting some old YF-23 drawings and calling it F-23A. :-X

I mean, whoever did this should have gotten at least the location of the Main and Secondary weapons bay right. The big one is at the back and the small one at the front. ???

Inasmuch as I LOVE what-if material (being myself a member of the eponymous forum) I dislike mixing fake material with genuine one, especially in a forum section dedicated to actual projects and potentially searchable by historians or enthusiasts trusting this forum for information... In this particular example, no-one will be fooled into believing that there actually was a U.S. Army Air Corps F-23... but if we are to follow the forum's ethics, this would be best located in the "Bar" section...

:D :D :D :D :D :D
Man... you guys crack me up! I just love the way you take the whole thing so seriously! :D
Bring it on... :p ;D

P.S.

I think they WILL be fooled! Yes, there REALLY WAS a USAAC F-23!

That would be P-23 - not F-23. -SP
