Along the same lines was the Chrysler A57 30-cylinder tank engine, which was based on Mopar inline sixes of the day and kept all five crankshafts for extra maintenance and overhaul fun.

The A57 is a "No, I'll swap it out" level of nope from me. R2160 is more like "going to go pay a professional, the kind of guy that wears a wizard's hat to work, and look over his shoulder while he does it."
