Hi.

Some rarely discussed weapons:

jap typ 11 75 mm flak 2.jpg
Type Taisho 11 75 mm AA-gun

jap typ taisho 14 105 mm flak 2.jpg
Type Taisho 14 105 mm AA-Gun

All I know is that they were developed and introduced... :( Are there any further data available of these early japanese AA-guns, especially about the development ?

Yours

tom! ;)

Looks that "Type Taisho 11 75 mm" is known as "Type 11 75 mm AA gun". Some information are available on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_11_75_mm_AA_gun
Seems that is saw soma action during the invasion of Manchuria, Soviet-Japanese Border Wars and the Second Sino-Japanese War.

"Type Taisho 14 105 mm AA-Gun" is Type 14 10 cm AA gun. Also some information available on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_14_10_cm_AA_gun
All of the Type 14 10 cm AA guns were assigned to the IJA 4th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Division, based in Kyūshū during the Pacific War. Some units were based in Kyūshū cities for defense against American air raids, but most were based at the Yawata Steel Works in Kitakyūshū city.

Edit: just figured out that we are in a strange situation with TomTom is Replying to Tom...
