The Hell Hound of Mons

It's stuff like this that bolster my lack of belief in the supernatural. Because it seems to me that as little evidence as there is for anything truly supernatural during normal times, during especially bad times like wars and genocides and really nasty pandemics with mass death, the supernatural should be out in force. Vampires and ghouls and shoggoths and monsters of all kinds should be roaming the battlefields and charnel houses and bombed out cities, constantly showing up on film and video. And yet... slaughter people as much as you want, supernatural nasties seem to stay the hell away. All we actually get are psychos and politicians and activists... awful, yes, but hardly supernatural.
