When La Reggiane became part of the Caproni Group, a "studio was formed in Reggio Brevets of the Caproni Group", whose mission was to build aircrafts in Reggio Emilia under the management of two engineers, Giovanni Pegna and Cantons. For some years they presented several models, one of them in 1936 was a 500 kg air-sea glide bomb which was to be launched by aircraft because in its lower part it was equipped with a nautical type keel, its length was 2.38 m with a wing width of 1.20 m, variants of aeronautical tails were considered for the construction of the prototype but the project was later abandoned. Apart from these indications Sergio Govi does not provide any other information in his book ( il caccia RE 2000 e la storia delle "Reggiane" Gruppo Caproni.1983)

A bomb perfected for skip bombing attack ? The planing bottom would keep it on the surface
for longer, than a conventional bomb, the wing would help here and probably increase drop range =
