looks like a tidy little design....the Tejas when flying from a carrier will have what sort of range - fitted out for AA mission or AS mission?

combat radius at max load , 250-300km thereabouts (this is 350-400 for the IAF version)
40 minute flight profile .

drop tanks can increase this by another 40-50 minutes

the figures I am giving are for the K10+ Kaveri which hopefully will yield more than 90KN in re heat

No more Naval LCA. My guess is this new one will be operational by 2050 if it isn't stopped before hand. This is truly ridiculous.

Well, that is confirmation that most national governmental projects across the globe get screwed by politics. Perhaps it will change some day but I won't be holding my breath.
