found some modelpics of the SAIMAN Val...

Yes, they are at Vigna di Valle museum. Actually, they are rather recent reconstructions, working from the sole side-view transparency survived (it is in the Ufficio Storico dell'Aeronautica archives in Rome, in the shreds of Guidonia's material they have). In other words, that COULD be the shape of the VAL, but it is a guesstimate at best.
