The Coyote family has a HPM payload / warhead for the Non Kinetic variant. This was stated by the then JCO boss back in 2023.

The Coyote interceptor continues to be improved by spiraling in software upgrades, he said. Later in his presentation, Gainey said that the Coyote has been equipped with a high-power microwave warhead for use to counter drones in the CENTCOM AOR.

I thought that the Coyote drone was still in development but, no, it has scored well over a 100 combat kills, from Defense Updates:

US Army has racked up 170 kills with Coyote counter-drone interceptors in operational deployments globally.

Officials highlighted Coyote’s achievements at the Falcon Peak 2025, a counter-drone capabilities demonstration at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado. The service currently has Coyotes deployed at 36 unspecified sites outside of the United States.

“So we’re in [the] CENTCOM region, AFRICOM, [and] EUCOM,” said Army Maj. Alyssa Tallmadge from the service’s Program Executive Office for Missiles and Space referring to the top U.S. military commands in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. “As we’re over there for Coyotse, we’re at 170 successful kills in all those regions.”

Unclear whether the Navy is using Coyote Block 2 (kinetic effector) or Block 3 (non-kinetic effector and recoverable air vehicle). Will be interesting to see how these systems are mounted and deployed - hopefully we at least get some pictures.

Production in the UAE is set to begin, good for faster supply of US forces and allies in the region against the threat of Iranian drones.

Ideally if production is high enough could supply all CENTCOM units allowing Raytheon to supply their US made coyotes to INDOPACOM forces. Who am I to be optimistic though?

They've been fielded for about three years AFAIK

I'm thinking that if it has a RIM number it's in the 190s. 191 or higher, since M-190 is the Black Arrow small cruise missile.

While the Coyote 2 is to all intents and purposes a surface-to-air guided missile, I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a formal missile designation. So far I haven't seen an alphanumeric designation for any of the various C-UAS interceptors or loitering munitions used by the US armed services.

If it does get one then depending on whether it's ship launched or ground launched it would be something like RIM-191A, MIM-191A or even BIM-191A if there's also an air-launched version.
