Partenavia P.96 and canard UAV

The first design is an actual aircraft, the Tecnam P 96.
It was designed by Prof. Luigi Pascale in early 90's, after the success of P 92.

Partenevia was formerly owned by Pascale brothers but it was taken by Alenia at the end of 80's.
Both Pascale started Tecnam really after and decided to produce only light aircrafts.
Currently Tecnam has two main plants in Italy, one is in Naples closer to the Capodichino International Airport and the other one is in Capua (near Caserta) closer to an old dirt airstrip previously managed by CIRA.

The latter RPV designs seems to be nothing more than graduation thesis excercises held in DPA (Dipartimento Progettazione Aeroanutica - Aeronautical Engineering Dept) of University of Naples "Federico II". Currently the DPA no longer exist because it was melted with the Space Dept. of University giving life to the newborn DIAS (Dipartimento di Ingegneria Aerospaziale - Aero Space Engineering Dept) and its chairman is Prof. Francesco S. Marulo (who teached for some period to the Georgia Tech and is long lasting AIAA Fellow).
