Well, no hard technical data available on the project, it was probably just brain training with multiply concepts studied and choosing preferable 'ultimate VTOL' with different size/cargo/speed options. Meanwhile, following could be of help...

Y can refer to Y-wing and 60 to some computed parameter.

AIAA-1991-3120: Is that a "paper", a "report", or could it be part of the AIAA Journal? I ask because I've seen many references like this on this forum and I'd like to know how to go about finding them.
