Maybe a reason the RQ-180 has been operating out of Greece?

I don’t think so, the hangars at Larissa were there for quite some time before the Iran war. I think all Middle Eastern bases are teeming with Iranian spies, both on and just outside of the bases. Probably not a good idea to base anything sensitive there.

At the same time, I think that every military intelligence agency worth their salt knew exactly what was operating out of Larissa.
