It looks like coming from one of the myriad patents Northrop took in 1942-45 on flying wings, with every possible permutations in number of engines, wingplans, etc. Just make a search in Google Patents and see them.

Its a Turbodyne powered version of the B-35. The Turbodynes was an early Northrop idea for a turboprop.
