Hi,

here is a single blade helicopter Model for Nagler;

Nagler Single Blade Helicopter under development in Austria '38·'42. Had single rotor blade 35' length counter-balanced by 40 hp Czech-built Praga engine. Claimed to be first Single Blade helicopter built, tested by full-scale whirl-stand ; prototype underwent tie-down hovering tests. Destroyed during Allied bombing. Was 1-2 place, weighing 400 lb. empty, 770 lb. at gross weight. Fuselage length 12'. German patent issued for design in '41 made provision for utilization of rocket motor exhaust to actuate single blade rotor.

That's a picture of the NR 54. The other is probably the NR 55.
You are right about the picture,

but the two types are unknown,because they mentioned NR 54 after it immediately ?.

The description of the helicopter "for which no designation has been reported" matches the NR 55, as you can see in one of the (very) few photos of the machine I've attached below.

The second is the NR 54 as the text mentions.

Both helicopters are accounted for I think.

That's is not right,the author knew the NR 55,this was an early design before them.

That's from a completely different book by another author. The text in Secret Luftwaffe Projects seems likely to be taken from "contemporary notes made by British intelligence officers" based on its writing style and the book's description.

I never convince with that,specially in anther source,Nagler had one or two designs before
NR 54.

The text in Meyer is almost certainly taken verbatim from the BIOS Rotating Wing Activities in Germany During the Period 1939-1945 report. There's no hint of any backpack helicopters before the NR 55 (which came before the NR 54) in authoritative sources like Nowarra's Die deutsche Luftrüstung.

Yes my dear Justo,

he began to develop rotorcraft from 1929,and from a German reliable source,there was a two
pictures for two different designs,when I go back to my home,I will send them.

I believe the picture I posted above is actually the NR 54 V1.

The NR 55 was a bit larger.
