It's always nice to have you around, and your contributions are always appreciated, but in the end what matters is that you're doing fine and that nothing serious was the matter.
Sometimes one has to take a break. It can be due to circumstances outside one's will, or because one may feel the need to put some distance.
Either way you don't have to apologize or justify yourself, because you have no obligation to anyone but yourself!
