Hi everybody

The Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm F-104G STREBO was a predecessor of the MW-1 submunition dispenser. Someone knows more about the MBB Strebo submunition dispenser ?

I only found infos about the MW-1. Here i have read the MW-1 can be carried on the F-104 Starfighter. Someone knows more ?

Some more infos from Google Books Snippet

The idea for a flying submunition dispenser sounds interesting. Maybe someone knows more ?

From "Jane's Weapon Systems" 1972. Two versions had been identified by May 1972, Strebo I and Strebo II. The former
is proposed for deployment on West German F-104G aircraft, while Strebo II is
larger and is intended for carriage by the MRCA.

From "The World military order: the impact of military technology on the Third World".

Finally there are West German developmental cluster-bombs within the Strebo
programme on fixed and free-fall dispenser munitions. The West German work on
cluster munitions was kept secret until late 1970, when information on three types...
