Hi guys ;),

I`ve found this very interesting articles on aerodynamics and Adolf Kuechmann`s work. They refer a 1944 fighter project named by the americans "Küchemann Coke Bottle". Does anyone have a drawing of it?

P.s. Notice the interesting patent drawing application by Junkers.

Afternoon Würger.

Try - Kuchemann carrots - on the web an
you will have a lot more..

Success.

Wurger talks of German fighter design, dubbed Coke Bottle by PaperClip guys, not Küchemann carrots as those on Convair 990

Hello guys ;D,

thanks for answering. Yes, I meant the fighter design. Any hints?

Hi Justo ;),

that same illustration is present at the second link I stated in the first place. But it does not looks like a fighter. Most probably it is not the definitive design ( besides, Kuchemann isn`t mentioned in the patent application ), but it shows what would be the overall fuselage appearance.

Although i'm slightly confused about this thread, is this:

any help?

The

suggests that it was Whitcomb who came up with the Area Rule - in the 1950's - not Kuchemann
